Please let your neighbours know that the council’s waste partners May Gurney have confirmed that collections for Thursday 24 January have been postponed on health and safety grounds. Many residents have still left their black bags and recycling out this evening....
Alternatively, residents can take their refuse and recycling to
household recycling centres located at Brynmenyn, Tythegston,
Penllwyngwent in Ogmore Vale and Heol Ty Gwyn in Maesteg.
Residents are encouraged to ensure that food waste is put into food
recycling containers and not into refuse sacks as this could attract
pests and result in torn bags.
